Waste and Recycling: Shop Foreman: PG 17 $25.38 - $38.07/ hourly Full time Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm Major Functions: Supervisory and skilled mechanical work in directing the operations of a shop providing repair and maintenance services for automobiles, trucks, or heavy construction equipment. Assists with planning, coordinating, and supervising the work within a fleet maintenance mechanical repair shop. Makes general and detailed assignments of work to mechanics and helpers engaged in maintenance, overhaul, and repair of automotive and heavy diesel constructions equipment (i.e., tractors, bulldozers, graders and other related equipment). ersees and reviews the work of mechanics and helpers to whom the repair and maintenance work has been assigned. Oversees and may perform the inspection, testing and road check testing of equipment to determine the nature of defects and failures.
